It usually annoys me when an artist or band covers someone else's song. It looses something that the original has, just like a movie that has been redone. And most are badly redone and ruin the whole thing. Just like uncle cracker's version of drift away and madonna's version of American Pie among many others, absolutly horrible! However IMO, Bon Jovi does justice to every song they cover, and sometimes bring something more to them. Some of them do sound better than the originals, to me anyway, and I prefer them.
