Aloha !

And rightly so. He has a top notch production and charges less for a ticket than Bon Jovi does. I'm no fan of Pink Floyd but can see why people would go see Roger Waters. It also makes it obvious that making your tickets more expensive means that you should offer something in return instead of wanky robots that are high tech as hell but look quite ridiculous. Though knowing Jon, it probably will teach him **** all because he's a clueless moron when it comes to selling your music.

Perhaps this tour was cheaper in Europe than it was here. I have no idea if he sold all the packages that Jovi's flogging these days, but tickets for this show in Atlanta were significantly more expensive than Jovi. I remember being surprised at the time that I looked into going. I just did a little searching and found the numbers: $59 for nosebleeds behind the stage to $203 for the good seats.

thanks amit for posting that.
I am not surprised and think it is well deserved.

that part of the article is important imo

*Voted upon by their peers in the biz, here are the winners for concert year 2010*
the vote was very profesionnal and that doesn't include much worshipping

I am never offended or disappointed when bon jovi is not the best in any polls or awards ....honestly I don't care and I don't even think they are the best (tsssk tsssk bad fan) ...
They are my favorite band .PERIOD !

Do I need to have them best tour to gloat about it ? ..No ...best tour for jovi today means more than ever how much ,too much money, we were asked for..and too much is the enemy of good... I went to the shows in 2010 and loved it but it's because I am that sort of fan ...I don't think the concept the whole thing was phenomenal at all ....O2 was good because of the residency that pushed the band to give more than usual ...if I was an occasional goer I would skip them without a doubt...if I was a pro ? ..LOL ...I don't know I am not a pro

I saw Roger Waters in Philadelphia last fall, and it was honestly the best concert I've ever been to. I'm not a huge Floyd fan either- like their stuff but don't listen regularly, although The Wall is my favorite album from them, which is what Waters played in entirety- and I was in tears at many points of the show. Very very good shit. At risk of sounding typical, it was the kind of performance that Jovi seldom touches.

Roger Waters and Paul Mccartney have most gross per show than Bon Jovi Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift
I think one of the shows in US Roger Waters had gross of more than $4 million
and his fan club is free you just select 5 shows u want tickets for
and service charge for those tkts is much smaller than what Ticketmaster charges

Oh no! I bet he is not. He has said that he doesn't care for this type of things, no awards displayed on his home, etc.. but then of course, when they (he) wins something, named the top one, the first one, he is most certainly mentioning it at every chance.

Those people that voted, definitely don't read Billboard, that's the only explanation, ROTFL

I respect Waters and good for him that he has won it. On the other hand, I see it a bit pathetic to tour The Wall album, or call the tour The Wall. It's 32 years old. It is like if Jon would do a solo Slippery When Wet tour in 2018.
