I wouldnt call Extreme (Funk) Love/Hate (Punk Rock) and Def Leppard (pop rock) hair metal.

Shit lazy list.

Love/Hate certainly were not received among punk rock circles, but still, I agree about Extreme. All these bands had a poppy image and big hair, but musically, Guns & Roses are way more deserving.

Hysteria is definitely hair metal, though. Those drumbeats sound tailor made for strip clubs, which was part of the whole sleaze rock scene.
