It is surprising that Slippery and New Jersey didn't make the list but Bon Jovi has never been a critics band. Bon Jovi fans know that Slippery and New Jersey should have made the list...who cares what other think!

Right..what REALLY gets me about this list is that every other band APART from BJ are at least somewhere on that list! Even Guns N Roses and Aerosmith and ACDC and Metallica are in the top half! i think someone here on this bord got it right in saying that Jovi arnt a critics band.. we here all know how good they are,and (if it matters) that they have at least 3 albums that have EASILY sold more than ANY in the top 100 there! its just all dirty music industry politics.. going on plain bread and butter sales, the likes of Jovi, U2, Michael Jackson, and lots of other names would be on or farrr further up the list than they are. its all about what is considered 'cool' and popular to like.. hell, sometimes the likes of Coldplay, Nirvana or Radiohead are voted ''best band ever'' by numerous poles.. just because they are hyped up by the critics in the press, not by there true popularity. Nirvana never did WORLD tours, playing out multiple nights at sold out STADIUMS, tour after tour.. alot of these artists seen on poles like these i wouldnt even consider in the same league.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

At least they said about BON JOVI - it's not the best debut but a hair-metal clasic.
You are true.

And now, with TLFR, I have read a review saying..."Bounce was a step in the right direction..."

Frankly, If they had been on that list would you have been happy about it or taken it seriously?

It's not even the matter of sales. It's just SWW, NJ, KTF, TD are better records than some of the records listed there.

But you are right. It's all politics. Jon said once something like that they never cared to kiss the right as*es in the industry.

In the end of the day I think it all comes down to knowing and pleasing right people. Bon Jovi have always been their own men. They don't live by anyone's rules but their own.

well don't search for bon jovi albums on the list, you won't find any. and there are a lot of other bands missing there and there are a lot of strange things on the list. don't waste your time. the only reason why they produced that list was to show that they can kiss the beatles asses the most. i think almost every beatles album made the top 50 (yes, i know i'm ecaggerating, but not too much)
