Default Jon & Richie album & tour

In regard to the possibility of touring the acoustic release with an unplugged outing, Sambora offers, "I don't know. Jon [Bon Jovi] and I often pontificated about just him and I doing some kind of acoustic 'Jon & Richie' album down the road somewhere but I don't know if that will ever come to. It sure would be fun to do it. I think that it is certainly one of our fortes."

That's a quote from Richie from the Billboard article. Would you enjoy hearing and seeing an acoustic album and tour from Jon & Richie?

I think that album would be pretty cool!!! Don't know about the tour, though, that probably wouldn't be very extensive. But the album - definitely!!!

The only bad thing is that without dave they wont be able to play any song needing keyboards (always, right side of wrong) so I would like Jon, Richie and Dave, Tico doesn't do much in acoustic songs.

I'll tell you why not......cos it means no Dave, no Tico, no Hugh, and very little rock....nope, I think they should stick to how they normally do it. Why fix what ain't broke?

Dunno... They should definitely record more acoustic stuff for b-sides, but I wouldn't necessarily want to see them doing an entire acoustic album. A one-off Richie & Jon acoustic show would be a treat, but not a whole tour. I'd definitely be missing Dave, Tico and Huey. They're an integral part of the band. It's sad enough that so-called "experts", the public and even fans narrow Bon Jovi down to Jon's or Jon & Richie's band, for that matter.

An acoustic album by either of them SOLO would be awesome though.

I agree but a acostic album would be cool. Not the live one thats coming later on in the year but a studio one with new material.

I would definitely love to see an acoustic show. Maybe a few shows, but not a full blown tour. A television special maybe I would buy the album too. I don't think it would take away from the band. They have proven that they can break away, do their own things, and come back together stronger. I would rather see Jon AND Richie as opposed to a solo acoustic tour. As long as they come back with a "band" album and "band" tour, I have no problem!
