Sambora rumoured to be joining Whitesnake?

With no disrespect to Whitesnake, why would RS give up the chance of playing with a high profile band that plays stadiums, releases #1 albums every 3 years and makes millions of dollars a year, to a band that plays 1,000 seat venues in a limited market (USA and maybe UK) that no one under the age of 30 has heard off???

Oh jesus these rumours never stop do they? I wasn't going to say anything but hey look, here I go again...

Is there any idea where the rumor originated from, or was it just some random internet rabble?

Anyway, Orianthi would have been a far better match for Whitesnake and she probably would have been able to play the songs. Then again with so many of those songs being all about banging girls maybe not

Whitesnake and Coverdale used to be great though.
