Bon Jovi doesn't make their covers. That's just a company who does that for them. And those company's have got enough knowledge of the existence of other covers.

No not that one, since the ones from On The Night were the same ones. The one on the pic is from a different place.
A satellite dish is a satellite dish. It's still an unoriginal concept, regardless of which satellite dishes they are.

Well, I know they have some say for their covers. Like Slippery When Wet came out - the orginal was a pink cover - and they werent going to have anything to do with that. They did, however, pick out the pictures that were going to go on the cover. They have some say. But it is true that the companies should know about exsiting covers.

Jon TRULY made the SWW cover. After they saw the pink fiasco, he took a black Hefty bag, sprayed it with water, took his fingers and wrote Slippery When Wet and the photographer took a photo.

Yeah, that was true genuis! lol. And the only reason the cover was pink in the first place was because it matched the girl's nail polish.. or at least thats what the designer said.. hehe...

True, Jon did do the cover for SWW, but he wouldn't have if the record company didn't completely mess up. They probably get the band's input on what the album cover and album art should be but other than that, the band is not so involved. I'm positive they get the "final say" though.

About the satellite concept being original... I don't think there has been another tour where an artist used the satellites as video screens. I think *that* is original. But I don't know why it's such a big deal if satellites have been used as art before. At least, I hope Bon Jovi fans aren't too concerned about that.

If they want satellites, let them have satellites.

I've never seen the pink cover...can anyone send it to me?

As for the satellite dishes, I quite like the idea. Perhaps they'll slowly evolve to simply satellites, and then just lites (lights). Their next album could be called "The Amazing Edison Experience".
