Jon seems to have caught a cold. Already thought that during the Jimmy Fallon interview. Still, I like that performance very much

i actually thought this too after ST - then i was blown away by WWWB....and when backed and watched ST and thought it was good too - richie has seemed off to be for a while now - esp during the Actors Studio performances where he didnt perform the solo to Wanted - which to this day nobody seems to notice and it was beautiful by dave - and JBJ did the solo to prayer ?!?! He didnt seem at all comfortable with a simple slide guitar solo, granted he wrote it and came up with it but its certainly not technically hard and he seems uncofomtable everytime he plays it...though i dont know if he is a slide master - im a black crowes fan so im sliding all the time...JBJ seems run down or has a cold

but either way i thought bought performances rocked upon multiple viewings...somebody must check down richies look though...it is distracting from the harmonies and music...

I thought WWWB sounded great. I don't really like the song but after that I think it might translate very well live.

I like the Superman Tonight studio track more but live WWWB kicked its ass last night XD is it just me or did Richie make a mistake in the Superman solo? Either way the performances sounded pretty good, WWWB specially sounds MUCH better live than I thought it would...

(And not for nothing - I hate Twilight - but Lautner did a decent job XD)

I noticed he flubbed a part, but yah, that was the first time the solo sounded "right" to me. All the other times I've seen it, it's had zero reverb on the solo and just kind of stuck out. I like how it was done last night.

Don't know if it's mentioned before, but at the end of the WWWB link posted a few posts above, there's a picture of the band in a huddle. Is it the one that was supposed to be on the cover of The Circle?

I agree, Richie seems a little bit off on the guitar, but these were the best performances I've seen from the band since the release of the new album. The vocals sounded strong, the band and the mixing were very good. Lately it seems richie struggles with solos that don't involve his traditional licks. But I don't mind. It was great.
