I'm gutted I only have the remastered version of KTF. I think it's a great song. The band we're at their peak at that period I think. There's not a weak track on KTF and even the demos from that period are great too.

mine has Save A Prayer on it, and i got mine in canada.... a few years ago now... cant remember when.

It's funny this thread has been reawakened as I was just listening to the track a couple of days ago for the first time in years after I found it hiding in my Windows Media Player list (it's not on my album copy of KTF ).

I love the song and the solo is class - a great driving tune!

It's kinda funny, because I've got the remastered version of "Keep The Faith", and there should be the title track live. But instead there is.. "Save A Prayer". When I bought the album I didn't know the song even exist. And when the last notes of "Little Bit Of Soul" faded out and I thought it's the end of the album, those sounds've been comin' out louder and louder. You know, I was kinda shocked.. With the intro itself and with the lyrics... And then after the intro... The hit of the track.. It just blew me away.. And I love it to the day. Such an amazing song... Lyrics, music, instruments. One of the best Bon Jovi songs.

Because of this thread I just listened to the song again. I still love it, just awesome... but I realized that I'm not sure about its lyrical content. I thought it's critical against religion, in the vein of "Hey God", then again I couldn't really get evidence from the lyric. It could be read both ways... apart from the intro.

Maybe you have some thoughts on this...
