I think you'd have to look really really hard to find a $20 bottle in the Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge...

Nah, the Mandarin Hotel story is basically identical word by word. But I did ask him about the rumor that Jon and Richie were ghostwriters on 18 And Life and I Remember You, and Sebastian said that he thought Jon helped writing 18 And Life but not I Remember You.

Axl did a great interview on That Metal Show within the past couple of years. When people sit down and talk to the guy about music, he's actually pretty cool.

What I meant by Axl's all talk is, whenever he's slagging off on someone, it's all in good fun. It's just Axl being Axl.

Ha Ha I knew someone would respond like that...

I'm not going to pretend I know Jon because I don't but I do know a lot of people who run in that circle. They tell me things and I share what I feel is appropriate.

I'm not going to tell people the brand of wine he drinks because it's irrelevant. Someone implied that the wine must have been expensive and I'm saying that Jon doesn't drink expensive wine. Not because he's cheap but because he got accustom to drinking a particular brand from staying in hotels for 30 years.

Those three songs (Youth Gone Wild) have Jon and Desmond all over them. I'm sure Jon wanted to give Skid Row somewhat of their own identity back then that's why it was kept quiet. If people knew Jon wrote the album, they wouldn’t have been taken serious. I believe the writer credits say "Skid Row". That's what was written on the tape I had 20+ years ago...

Also, Sebastian was not the original lead singer of Skid Row. That entire first album was written and demoed way before they even knew who Sebastian was. The singer sounded very much like Sebastian and sang the songs almost identical. I'm not sure what made them go with Sebastian over that guy. Maybe because it was the 80's and Sebastian was prettier or maybe his voice was better. It's been so long, I can't remember the reason. Sebastian’s not even American, he’s Canadian.

I should pull out that original demo and put it on YouTube (If it's not there already).

Oh, that's the reason why Sebastian is clueless

Most luxury hotels dont have $20 wine on their menu unless Jon
carries wine bottle with him

If these are the quotes I'm thinking of, it wasn't bashing the band per se, just questioning the credibility they got when they hadn't released anything for years, whilst BJ still had hit albums and tours etc..

Probably asked Jon if he can be his roadie on the next Bon Jovi tour.

Exactly... and calling Axl something like a "mother****in' recluse" or something along those lines, in the process of doing so.

A. Jon stays at the hotels closest to the venues of which most are not classified as "luxury hotels".

B. Just because he's now a world class rock star, doesn't mean he's always stayed at luxury hotels anyway. I think the Jon in 2012 is a little different than the Jon in the 80's & early 90's

C. There is brand of wine that is carried in all Hotels. It's between 20 and 25 in the liquor store, I'm sure there is a significant mark-up in the hotels.

D. I'm not making it up so I don't care if you believe me or not.
