Ah - another fan. I have always loved that track. Most other people I know tell me how depressing it is. I think you had to be there (in a relationship that ends after a long time, not a short term one) to really appreciate it. You know - misery loves company LOL
I also realized after I posted that it is also on Hammersmith Odeon which is one of my favorite bootlegs. I don't remember who posted it here but I should say thanks - again.

Yeah, that's a great bootleg, too bad it's an edited version of a show that included Pink Flamingoes!!

Default Silent night live... ahh nothing beats it.

What an incredible song live! I love how Jon improv's on it..... "When you get into that big shiny car of his..." Too cool for school...

Just turn and walk away...

I can relate to this song also... strong emotions...

OWN Tour, 28 March 2001, Yokohama, Japan - Tokyo Road. It was the only show on the Crush/OWN/Bounce tours where they played it.

If you'd take SILENT NIGHT out it would be the perfect Rock Album.

Most of the Jovi albums don't have UNITY.

You listen to this one and you feel the mood the boys were in.
Very good album...Great drumming,great guitar work,G R E A T B A S S!
Alec having the time of his live.

I said it before...in my opinion: the only DIFFERENT hair metal album of the 80s!!!

Fahrenheit was awesome, nothing at all to be ashamed of. Maybe King Of The Mountain was crap, but most of the album is raw. That is the beauty of it, NJ, KTF and so on were more polished pieces of artwork. But for Fahrenheit, the guys were getting out a lot of thier youthful anger and such. If there were no Fahrenheit, Slippery would have sounded like crap. Think about it...

I don't think that there is anything wrong with Silent Night, infact I really like it. If there was one song that I'd get rid of from the album it'd probably have to be King Of The Mountain, but I don't think it's a bad song at all!
