Default Shocked by Gaints Stadium half show

Hi,

Just got my tape of the pre season show at Times square, where the reception seemed good for the guys, the commentators seemed to show Jovi some respect also.

At Giants Stadium half time show, one football commentator said does anyone like Joive, there was silence! A commentator introduce Jovi and had to say twice are your ready to rock and roll , the crowd didnt even seem bothered, half hearted cheers when the guy said heres New Jerseys finest Bon Jovi.

I thought they sang Everyday well and it was a good performance, very few of the background crowd even seemed to move to the music , more interested in getting their faces on tv. After Jovi finished even then the claps were lame and I thought I could actually here boos, Jon looked a bit miffed. He just shouted out Go Giants. At least Jon knows that some of the nfl players appreciate their music as they go to Jovi gigs.

Ive seen Giants stadium being filled with Jovi fans in the end of OWN tour.
I thought that NY/NJ fans would be out in force to see the guys at the half time show, or if your not a fan at least show some support for some home grown talent, so Im just shocked by the poor reception they got. I figured Jovi had a very large following NY/NJ, I dont know now. How horrible to be in your home town and get an unappreciative reception.

That's really awful! But I didn't think Bon Jovi fans would be there in a big number, cause if you could go to the Times Square, you saw and heard a lot more of the boys.
But it really is disrespectful to boo, or even don't clap at someone who did the best they could!

That didn't sound good! But as "alja" said, most Bon Jovi fans will have prefered to go to Times Square, maybe the Giants fans were concerntrated on the sport!
