Oh I meant Crush, Bounce, Hand. But that's a good point. If you didn't like Crush, OWN, Bounce, TLFR, why would someone like HAND? I mean that's 5 albums in a row that some people here don't like, nearly half of all their albums.

I included OWN. Not the box set. Because a good chunk of it was recorded 1998 and prior.

Ok but on a note (at least I am consistent), I don't like the boxset too much because of too much post 1998 stuff...

Yep, that's why I'm tired of it all with Bon Jovi.
A big part of their catalog is crap (the post 2000 stuff imo) and it has lasted too long with too much success (good for them but not for me) for them to change their orientation.
It feels on the albums and it feels in the shows. They're still good live but now 2/3rds of the songs I don't want to hear.

They're still selling millions worldwide and selling out shows, so they should go on. It's me that should have stopped a long time ago. And it's what I'm doing now. They'll be in Montreal in 3 weeks and I won't go. The future album I won't buy before listening and really liking it, etc...

since when is a band/artist remembered for it's later stuff? it's always the best that is remembered.

for example the rolling stones have released alot of pap in the last 20 years, but people remember jumpin' jack flash, satsfaction, brown sugar etc.

totally agree with that. It's still Livin' On A Prayer that people mostly associate with Bon Jovi and not It's My Life or Have A Nice Day. On the other hand, Livin' On A Prayer is not necessarily the best song to be remembered for. It'd be much nicer if people said "Bon Jovi? Oh yeah! Dry County, These Days, Someday I'll Be Saturday Night". Wanted Dead Or Alive and Blaze of Glory still count as Bon Jovi trademarks(wrongly in the second case) and I never heard anybdy bitch about those songs saying they are too cheesys, poppy, commercial or "not hard enough to be rock" - that's good.
