Sightseeing in/around E. Rutherford - Need help/suggestions

The pizza parlor jury was in New Jersey. They recorded demos in NJ before they went to Canada. Enzo's Pizza in Sayreville. I believe it's on Main Street if you want to try to find it.

A book you might find helpful is the lonely planet guide to New York and NJ + PA. Gives maps etc. Some of the earlier books ie 2yrs mentioned Jovi and Springsteen.

Thanks for the pizza place name. Were the demos recorded IN Sayreville? I did an anywho search and Enzo's is on Byrnes Lane West. Thanks for the info.

The virtual tour was great. We'll be driving over night and have to squeeze in a bunch of stuff before the concert! We are getting so psyched! Sleep? I'll sleep when I'm dead!

Yep, I can see it now...we all converge on Enzo's for lunch on the same day! "I'm sorry sir, that will be a 45 minute wait...". LOL! We're game!

Bona(fide), wow, I thought my 9 hour drive from Cleveland was a long trip! We're attending on the 7th because we couldn't get the tickets we wanted for the 8th.

If anyone wants to hook-up at either of the pizza places or at Asbury or whatever, we're game. It's alway nice to meet people who are just as nuts as we are over Jovi!

At the risk of sounding like a stalker (obviously I'm not) is Red Banks (between Sayreville and Asbury Park) Jon's current residence. It would be cool to get pics of Jon's current pad.

Years ago Mike Tyson used to live not far from me and people would always be stopping and taking pictures (especially during the rape trial) and nobody seemed to care. Obviously we live in a different world now and if checking out Jon's home is a security issue, I won't bother. Maybe I'll see him in his Viper on the way to the stadium!!

Thanks guys for all the great info on here on where to go and what to see, not to mention where to find the specific scenes on the album covers and such! One bit of information is still elusive though...

Jon is selling his viper, he said so in his last interview.

Also you cant take pics of his pad as you cannot see it from the road. Has one hell of a long drive way. He is not stupid !!!!! Recently pics of his house were in mags, very stately.

Dawn, I figured that or a gated community or something, but had to ask. As an amateur photographer I always like to take my own pics even if that same subject is readily available in print or electronically. It just ads something personal to it. I say amateur, but it's more of a hobby (a very expensive one too).

Anyway guys, thanks for the great info on this thread. With all there is to see, we plan on checking out very local stuff just before the concert and then doing most of the sightseeing (Sayreville, Asbury Park) on Friday.

One piece of information is still missing from this thread. Does anyone know where the best hangout is before and/or after the concert?
