is it possible that he meant Bon Jovi are over with the fans in the sense that everyone likes them or does he mean that they haven't got another hit in them?

Only he himself knows what he meant. Maybe he meant that their career was over.

A judge on American Idol. He was very critical and harsh, never afraid of telling the contestants excatly how he felt. He made a lot of the people cry.

Simon Cowell was on CBS This Morning and he was given names of artists and he gave back one word answers. He at first said over and the interviewer said really? And then he said, no, bad hair.
Remember Jon said some not nice things about Simon and American Idol and this is the second time Simon has dissed Jon. I thought Simon was over actually though apparently he has a book out with his pin headed thoughts about the music business. Didn't he bring us Westlife? I rest my case.

simon cowell is a tv and music producer who devised the idea for popstars/pop idol in the uk and has since taken it over to the us where it has also been a success. a lot of what he says is correct but he tends to play on the bad boy image a little too much.

what did Jon say?

I am paraphrasing but he said something when asked about American Ido about how the UK should keep Simon. I think they were in the UK doing Bounce promotion. Simon seems to be on this anti-Jon kick since.
