Default Singer of support act slags off infinitely superior band

This week's issue of the NME is dedicated to dead musicians. It's got features on all the usual suspects; Lennon, Elvis, Brian Jones, Syd Barrett, and, of course, one on Kurt Cobain.

The Cobain article goes into detail about the whole guitar hero conflict that's emerged this year, and features an interview with the bloke from Biffy Clyro. You know, the singer who insists on going onstage looking like some sort of caveman. Anyway, he has some kind words for Bon Jovi.

The thing is, I don't want him playing songs by bands he would never have approved of. If it was only Nirvana songs then, great, but I don't want to see him play along to some schlock-rock, shit-talk, shingle-loving, ragingly irrelevant song by a band of homocidal jizz wallopers.
Anybody else see him and his band at Twickenham last year being, well, a bit shit, really?

Shitty Clyro, now aren't they the ones that sing "I can move mountains, I can move oceans, I can move birds, I can move cars, I can walk, I can turn my phone on" or something to that extent?

Because if that's them, they're ****ing twats and have about as much valid opinion on music as...NME.

And I'm pretty sure Kurt Cobain would have hated Shitty Clyro anyway. Singer boy seems to be acting as though him and Kurt were blood brothers or summit.

Aloha !

Weren't they the band who got a massive cheer from the audience when they anounced that they'd be playing their last song? Or was that the other night?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Biffy Clyro, erm.... I think I remember one song about a mountain. That was shit.... Also the singer never wears a shirt and looks like a hunger striker....

Anyone got anything good to say about these bed wetters?

It was in the NME too, god almighty

Man, I remember in college last year this girl was obsessed with Shitty Clyro, played their noise all the time.

I just wanted to punch that pretty lil face of hers and rant at her as to why they suck, she sucked and I ruled and why my music taste ruled.

She made me very angry with her Biffy Clyro fan-ness.

Yes they were! They announced their last song, the crowd cheered, the "singer" replied "Ah f*ck off". Class act.

They actually told the crowd to **** off and play their nintendoes! And when they finished their set the singer put his guitar on the monitor leaving loads of feedback and stormed offstage.
