Yeah, so allow me to not jump on the hate bandwagon, and say that Biffy Clyro are actually a good band. They were just suffering from monumentally awful sound levels at Twickenham

There is no particular reason why any Bon Jovi fan shouldn't like this song:
Does it actually say that quote is about Bon Jovi? Cos I saw an interview with them from last years Download Festival, before Twickenham, when they said they were really looking forward to supporting the band

It wasn't anything to do with the sound levels for me - they were just absolute pish.

A lot of the crowd, including us, just sat down and chatted amongst ourselves when they were on stage and tbh, I was that tuned out of the cacophony of sh*t that by the end, I couldn't really tell you if people cheered the last song or if we got sarcastic comments back as I only really started paying attention to what was going on again after the noise had stopped.

The most atrocious live act I've ever seen and that includes bands I've heard at my local pub!

The Feeling were better but that's not really saying much as I thought the were crap on the whole as well. At Hampden, local band Logan should have just played right up to the minute Jovi stepped on to the stage. Now that's a proper f*cking rock band!

I agree with the Logan comment! As far as Biffy go I can't say much because I have never seen them. My brother loves them but the music doesn't do it for me.

I also quite like Biffy Clyro. I wouldn't say that I'm a massive fan of theirs, but their albums have their moments and I've seen them live a couple of times (in smaller venues than Twickenham, obviously) and enjoyed myself. I just think that perhaps they weren't the right choice for opening for Jovi- Biffy obviously weren't that thrilled with it and I can totally see why they wouldn't go down well with a Jovi crowd.

Mind you, I always seem to be in the minority when it comes to Jovi support acts- I for one thought that Nickelback was absolute f***ing pish at Dublin and Glasgow in 2006.

Ain't that the truth, sister! They sucked like a deuce at Coventry.

Amen! Chad, just because you can swear and tell dirty jokes, it doesn't make you a good musician...

To be fair, Nickleback are miles better than Biffy Clyro and The Feeling, and I do not like Nickleback at all.

The feeling were okay... they played their instruments well but the music was just too soft. They're not a real rock act. They were received quite well at Coventry, they even got a singalong at one point.

The best support I've seen for Bon Jovi were Matchbox Twenty, they almost stole the show in fact.

BTW, I think Biffy Clyro deserve an apology. Seems like they love Bon Jovi after all.
