How does Dave Grohl, Axl Rose and Hetfield all beat JBJ? Bon Jovi have nearly sold as much as these 3 put together!

JBJ's net worth was 120 million around 2000. I am sure I saw a similar list around the turn of the millenium. If anything he made that much from touring in the last 5 years alone. Even after tax and everything, he'd still be way higher up, easily.

Isn't Elton John broke? Had to sell houses and so on? I know that's not necessarily reflective of net worth, but surely, some people on that list don't add to its credibility.

According to Forbes, Bon Jovi the band made 60 million last year alone. Half of it (if not more) would go to Jon. Plus, I am sure Sambora is worth more than someone like Scott Weiland. Weird list.

Aloha !

There's no way Axl is that high up on the list. He's not making much money off touring and it's not as if he makes much from his writing credits as everything on Appetite was split with 5 people. Maybe not everyone of those 5 got just as much, but it's not the same construction as with Bon Jovi where Jon got the cash and the rest had to wait for their paycheck. The list makes no sense at all. Several artists on the list were nearly broke as well, I know Clapton admitted back in 2005 that he kinda had to tour again as he bought way too many Ferrari's.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I think the list is lead singers of bands not solo artists.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."
