i'd go with the latter since it's not your typical wedding gig song to play.
We had it at our wedding and it went down brilliantly... we did put together the entire playlist for the disco we had after the ceilidh though.

I remember my mama bought my dad Anthology by Bryan Adams and TLFR for his birthday, not realising what the latter really was.

Oh what a shock they got Needless to say, the Bryan Adams CD got a lot more plays. I don't think TLFR even got one full play by my dad.

I wasn't into Jovi back then, but when I did get into them my dad rather quickly gave me his copy of TLFR. And I like most of it anyway

Bahaha! Thats similar to how I got mine. This was when I was just become a mega die-hard Jovi fan. My friend had TLFR and she knew i was a Jovi fan so she asked me if I wanted it because she thought it was a greatest hits but "they are all slow"

i don't see how it would have gone over well at the wedding of a bon jovi tribute bands guitarist

seriously out of the 2+ years of DJing I did the only only jovi tunes i could get away with playing 99% of the time were it's my life, prayer, bad name, saturday night and always aka the BIG hits.

Haha. There was much drunken air-guitaring!

I wonder just how many people bought TLFR 'by accident'. Quite a lot by the sounds of it.

Our drummer also bought that as his first Jovi DVD after joining the band thinking it to be a greatest hits show and quickly realised he had made a mistake. LOL
Just out of interest have you ever done any of the TLFR work live?

No. The only tracks I think would be passable live are the ones that people would expect to hear in their original form so we haven't bothered. I think we'd sooner put an acoustic section in than go all TLFR at a gig.
