Wrong he as well as Jon were both saying that he is working on a Blues-album.

I'm glad that he didn't release a compilation. Two records does not a good compilation make. I would like to see a third record, though, but not as much as a new Bon Jovi album!

the band is still Richie's priority, i guess, though he has songs already to fill his next album! imo

Yes, but they've always been passing comments such as 'I'm thinking of a doing a blues album' . He's never released official confirmation that he's RECORDING an album which I plan to release next summer etc, etc.

That's true, he said that he is working on it, a release date or something was never said. He probably can't since he is such a perfectionist (and quite slow when it comes to recording LOL). But anyway, I was looking forward to a new Richie-album and didn't expect a new BJ-album that soon. That doesn't mean that I'm not looking forward to the new BJ-album. It's just that most good things also have a little sad side, and this is it in this case.

Give the guy a break. He's been on tour with BJ since 2000, and then he's got the album work with Bon Jovi, and his family and other interests. No doubt Heather needs a lot of looking after too.

Heh, I know why you guys are dissapointed because Richie's other two albums are great. I think Richie these days would make better music than the band are at present. He's got a great voice, a super guitarist and very good songwriter. I wish one of two things. First choice would be that BJ get their act together and start rockin' again, and secondly Richie would release a solo album, and do a tour, because I'd definately go to see him.

First thing is I would love to have a new Richie album. But a Bon Jovi album would be even better. But I have every album of theirs and didn't notice any crap on any of them. I love TLFR. Any band that is welling to expriment and try something difrent is great in my opion. I think more bands should do something like it. To me if you are a true fan of any band you would be open to anything they do and stay dedicated to them. But than again it just might be my wried taste in music.
