“THE chicken lady says hi,” said “Jersey Boys” star Jared Spector to Jon Bon Jovi at the launch party for Philadelphia Style magazine. When Philly Mayor Michael Nutter and publisher Jason Binn scratched their heads, Bon Jovi smiled and Spector explained that the chicken lady is their mutual voice coach, Katie Agresta, who has also helped Lenny Kravitz, Cyndi Lauper and Steven Tyler, and who has become known for her “Voodoo Voice” techniques. “It’s been said that all she has to do is rip a chicken’s head off and you’ll be cured of anything,” said Spector.

Well let's see.....if Jon sounded that good after a measly chicken was sacrificed for his voice......imagine how good he might sound if something a bit larger and more substantial was sacrificed.....a pig or a cow for instance

The question is, does it actually work? I'm with Kathleen, I think we should sacrifice a cow or something for his voice....birthday present idea?

Chickens are here for food, and killing, they don't have any other part in the food chain. It's not like she's killing cheetahs or pandas or something like that!

Do we have to kill things purposefully? Can't things die naturally and then we sprinkle them over Jon's vocal box? That way no one has blood on their hands.

Like if I knew this helped Jon's voice I woulda made my hamster commit sucide earlier (no seriously, he killed himself) and sent him to this lady.

I think that's missing the whole point of voodoo...... you have to sacrifice the chicken, other wise it doesn't count.

But I'd rather have the chickens in my KFC, let's give Jon something I don't wanna eat...like a seal or summit, maybe that'd improve his keepy uppies as well.

I see everyone rates Jon's voice above a chicken's life....

Yeah me too.
I would be proud if i was that chicken, knowing that my death wasn't in vain, but resulted in a lot of happy Bon Jovi fans
