I thought it was terrible. It was sang 5 semitones lower than the original!!! Took all the energy out of the song, and even then he didnt do the key change!

The thing about most Jovi songs is that they are so damn high that even Jon can't sing them live any more, so it's gonna be pretty difficult for others to. And even if they can reach the notes, Livin' On A Prayer especially is meant to be sung with backing vocals, so yah, its gonna be tough to get right

The backing music was terrible..took me about 30 seconds before I could even vaguely recognise it as Livin' on a Prayer.

As far as im aware thats complete bollox. He said Jon was a gofer when Cher recorded I found someone, well that wasnt until the mid to late 80's, I bet Jon wouldnt know that guy from Adam.

the whole show is laughable.

particularly when that bloke with the long hair said that he'd worked with BJ when they performed on the Tube. and that 'live' this 'home and away guy' was on a par with them?? right ok

also why is martine mc-whatserface saying 'you didn't do a key change and some of it was out of tune'....... and then contradicting herself by saying it was great.... yes ok

and then that other one saying jon would be proud...hmmmm

it was hysterical...most disappointing thing though? Dr Karl left too early!
