girl i know went to old trafford and still thought richie, dave, tico and hugh were a bunch of session musicians acting as a backing band.
in some ways they still are but just in a long-term context. someone else can give you more details about the ins and outs of the contracts.

and notice that bon jovi were a band. a girl i know went to old trafford and still thought richie, dave, tico and hugh were a bunch of session musicians acting as a backing band.

Why can't you leave the people from Backstage alone? If you don't want to read stuff like this, stay away from that board. It's that easy.

Thing is, you have to remember a lot of these people are stupid, and don't know what good music is.

I don't think it's a case of them not liking the music, but more that they could take it or leave it. Bon Jovi could do anything musically, and they'd go for it because they don't really have much of an idea on what music is, so they'll accept it.

If Bon Jovi looked like Iron Maiden would people be so into them? Methinks not

Well the women still go after Bruce Dickinson don't they?

Anyway, it's true that for a lot of people the looks were the first thing that attracted them to Bon Jovi.

really? I just presumed that they were never the sort of band to attract the women, shows what I know.

Well, I wouldn't say they attracted female fans just with Bruce alone, but my ex and a couple of her mates were rock fans and they'd always say how Bruce Dickinson was so good looking, blah blah blah! It used to get quite annoying.

Oh yeah, and you never know how lucky you are/were until you find a partner who likes the same type of music!
