See the little star * next to the number of BoG sales????

That means that this count is only since 12/1991 when SoundScan went into business. BoG total is somewhere at 2,700,000 last I checked

anyway Crossroad is one of the best selling compilation albums in ages, these figures are just silly - theres no certain way of telling whos sold what. These are just for America aswell I assume?

Over here These Days knocked Wacko Jacko off the top so it certainly sold more than a million

Pretty poor sales for a market as big as the US! Destination Anywhere sold more than 1 million copies in Germany during the year of its release [1997]. These Days and Crush sales over here also exceed those figures by faaar...

I could be wrong but I think platinium sales are for a strange number like 300,000 records sold (or at least in the UK it is something like that).

Having said that there was a 6 week period in 94 where Crossroad(!) was selling a million copies a week.
