Default Some thoughts about the Vegas concert and the new album

Now people, just think... bonjovi.com announced the Las Vegas FULL BON JOVI concert for April 30, but they had to announce it now because the tickets go on sale in a few days (March 5).
I think that the Las Vegas concert could be the new album's Shepherd's Bush Empire kind of concert, it will be performed apparently a few days before the release of the album and of course they'll perform stuff from the new record.
I think that the album going to be worked in LA means that they are going to master it in the George Marino's studios.
And I think that this concert and the VH1 Save The Music thing are just the first official announced things for the promotion of the new album.
Now I am seriously starting to think that the first single will be released in the end of this month or in the beginning of April...
What do you think?

I think I love it .. but .. the Vegas thing is really the 10th anniversary of a casino in vegas .. Sheppards Bush was independant thing ....

I hope they will do promo where I'll be able to go .. Vegas (holy macaroni !!) is A LIL BIT FAR AWAY .... I can't wait for some announcement about how the cd is doing ..; about when the single number will be released , about when they will promote in Europe and world wide .....

i think it has nothing to do with the new album and it will be something like an 1 hour performance for the anniversary with the same predictable setlist for these kinds of shows.

Arash I am unfortunately thinking that we might be too excirted for nothing .. I am fearing this might be just a short show for an anniversary in a casino ...

here is a oompas reply that is clear .. they cannot confirm it's real full lenght jovi show they can just say it's gonna be just Jovi

Question:
omg! Can you tell me if this vegas concert is like a full jovi concert, or are there other acts (where bj would play for like an hour)??? Please let us know!! Thank you!
asked by VEGAS!!! on Monday, February 28, 2005

Answer:
While we can't confirm exactly how long it is, the show on April 30th that we're talking about in the news section is JUST BON JOVI - it's not a multi-act bill.

Aloha !

Even if it is a show in which they'll promote the new album it won't be special. They play 5 new tracks and for the rest it's just the same old shite. Starting with Prayer, half way the show Jon will be asking if everythings doing ok and 30 minutes Tico will give him the beat. Oh yeah and we'll end with the boring and worn out shout. "Because it's a show that will attract a non Bon Jovi audience as well blabla"

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

So do you think that Bon Jovi in association with Hard Rock café is more importantnt than, well, the music and the show?

not in general. But at this particular time and at this particular moment.
Playing some new songs in the HARD ROCK CAFE for the first time MIGHT add some credibility! It's not a MUST on the other hand...

I didn't know the hard rock café played such a decisive part when it came to credibility
