Default (some thoughts) I feel like saying thank you

What's next?

Are they gonna return as a band?

Those of you who seem to concentrate on the negative all the time - enjoy because nothing lasts. We have 4 more months when the band is active. And then - uncerainty. Can you take uncertainty? Are they gonna be back? What shape they'll be in when/if they are back?

Another band break is probably coming. What if it's gonna be 5 years again? 5 years is a long time. Everything is gonna be different in 5 years. Music, my life, everything.

Nothing lasts... People somehow always have mostly fond memories of the past, spend a lot of time planning the future, and don't appreciate what they have today. I don't want to live my life like that... Grass is always greener on the other side... Not!

Whatever happens I'm forever grateful to Bon Jovi for everything they've given me. Dear Bon Jovi! Thank you for making my life better! You have my undying gratitude. Thanks for existing ...

Change. Everybody's feeling strange. Makes you wonder how the world keeps turning. (I had to say that.)

Honestly, I have complete faith in the band. I think the band will still be very active since they have so many new fans (like me ). They may take a break, but not for five years. They do have to keep their name out there. Besides, either Richie or David said in an interview that they were beyond the point of breaking up. Still, whatever the band may do- split or stick together- I will respect their decision. (But it would still break my heart if they were to spit.)

I couldn't have said it better myself. In fact, I've tried and didn't say it nearly as well as you just did.

There will always be a million complaints. People will complain that the band took too long of a break, and then when the new album finally does come out, people will complain how it sucks. It's a viscious cycle.

There probably will be another break while they work on outside projects. The box set will be out, but I doubt they'll tour in support of it. Jon will probably make some movies and a solo CD. Richie will probably release that Greatest Hits thing he's talked about and do some movies or TV since he's into acting now. Maybe Dave and his musicals will take Broadway by storm. Tico seems to live a very full life outside the band, so who can guess what he'll do next!?

It's kind of depressing to think that the band won't be active for a while though. The past few years have given us a lot to enjoy.

Obsessed? Not at all. But I find it interesting.

Well, I'll just enjoy it while it lasts. I survived the death of Queen, I'm sure I can survive Bon Jovi breaking up for a while. Hopefully the joy of being together will get them back to playing and making records again. Anyway, it hasn't happened yet!! What's with all the pessimistic thinking??
