Not really the "serious" music media. Look up the Rolling Stone reviews of SWW and NJ.

This magazine didn't like Led Zeppelin during the 70s. They didn't like GNR's Appetite For Destruction and Nirvana's Nevermind when they were released.

So their opinion isn't important

My point really was that the "serious" music press has never really been on the pro-Jovi bandwagon.
