No, but it is one of the better ones. Also, Osaka 2000 was ok, not as good as the live 'album' version though.

Anyone know where I can get the slower acoustic version someone mentioned in an earlier post, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks
Gary

Someday I'll Be Saturday Night is a very good song. It was released here (in South Africa) and made the top 10 !

The song has a lot of emotional content and there was many a dark time that I actually put this song on and felt better - "I ain't going down gonna find a way"

It's lovely to listen to - I never get tired of it. I wish I was able to get these different versions everyone keeps talkin' about (like how we had the different dry county versions here a while back). I guess by improvising, the song never gets tired live.

Someday I'll be Saturday Night is one of my all-time fave BJ songs. As everyone has been saying it's full of optimism and live it definitely rocks! They played it Friday night in Bremen and the crowd (including myself ) just went wild!

Have always loved this song. The tune is good and it definitely sticks in your mind. Loved it the first time I heard it and I think the lyrics are beautiful. It is a sad song but it's also very uplifting and very positive. It's definitely the song I want to hear when I am feeling down - it always gives me the strength to pick myself up and start again (kind og like Something to believe in)

Yes the song has some sad lyrics, but overall it is a very uplifting song. Like someone said and what is said in the song, "yeah I am down, but I will get by".
It is one of my favorite songs and it has never failed to help me when I am feeling down.

I guess I´m the only one who doesn´t like that song that much then. It doesn´t suck, but I don´t listen to it that often. Fun to play with guitar though.
