I couldn’t say it better…
Crush and Bounce aren’t that bad but for BJ are just back steps…both album didn’t show BJ talent, not as musicians and not as songwriters.
IMO the next record is the most important one for their career since Keep the Faith…they should take all the time they need but I’m afraid they’re gonna release it in 2005…too early.
Something new out every year is not good for the quality.
I don’t know how many records they have to release for Universal but I hope the next is gonna be the last one.
BJ are one of the greatest rock band of all times and the next decade can really define their career…it can take them in “Rock and Roll Olimpo” with Stones and some other good guys or bring them back in what I call “the midway land” where a lot of bands has lost themselves in the last years.
IMO one thing is sure…If they want to go on with the last 2 album line, to survive, they need to write another “It’s my life” (…imagine Crush without that song folks……)
Bon Jovi, your mission is not over yet.
