Well, It was 14 years ago, but I remember this day very well, I was so excited...It was my first concert, you know, my dream come true. There were few people, I think less than 10.000, I didn't matter to me. They played more or less the same songs that they did in other cities, like the video "Live from London". I went with my brother and some friends, we went from Valencia to Caracas (2 and a half hours by road) only to see them. I only have the ticket and a news of a local newspaper.
I remember we was waiting for the spanish version of Bed of Roses, but they didn't play it...a lot of people were dissapointed because of that, but I only remember I was so happy because I had seen them and they were there... just so close and so far at the same time. You know... until this day I used to see them like rock stars... untouchables and like someone you only can see at the magazines....but... when they started to play the first song (I don't remember, i think it was one of the Rollings) I was looking for Jon at the stage and I first saw Richie, and Dave and when I saw him I thought.... OMG He's real... he's more handsome than he looks at pictures.
When I used to live in Venezuela I didn't have access to BJ stuffs like I have now. Now I live in Valencia, Spain and I went to my second concert last year in Barcelona and here I can find a lot of things.
Well I hope you enjoy my history.... It's more or less the same history that everybody have about their first concert, but thanks to you I feel a VIP, because I was in that concert.....

P.D.: sorry for my english, maybe I made mistakes

Thank you for the review. Did they open with Helter Skelter or Rockin' In The Free World? They didn't play the Spanish version of Bed Of Roses, but didn't they do Como Yo Nadie Te Ha Amado either?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

No, they didn't play in spanish.... and about the open... I don't remember very well but I think it was the same song they played at Wembley Stadium in "Live from London", I remember those huges dolls at the coners of the stage like devils ...Elvys and a woman....

At Wembley they opened the show with Prayer and the huge dolls didn't show up until halfway the show. They weren't there when the show started.

I suggest you to take a look at this site: www.bonjovi-archives.com and select Cross Road. Once you check the setlists for the South American leg of the tour you'll see that it was either Helter Skelter or Rockin' In The Free World.

The site is mine, by the way, which is why I am asking you all this.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Hi, well, now I'm a little confused, 'cause It was a long long time ago.... in a galaxy far far away....LOL
But I think it was HS with Hey God, sorry I'm trying to remember but I don't have the set list, now I'm doing my own investigation to find something about that concert, 'cause It seems like It never happens, no one have nothing 'bout it.
