Yeah I noticed that too... These Days especially has a really organic feel to it when you compare it to songs like It's My Life for example. On These Days you can almost imagine the band are playing everything live rather than mixing everything and putting it together. I think the music flows a little better on that album. I still love Crush though!
that's right, it's because crush was the first album where they were using computer mixing technology, wich is a shame to me, because the songs sounds too perfect! i'd still prefer to hear old jovi material, such as these days or SWW

These days is cool when you feel melancholical.....

But I still prefer KTF.

I feel like These Days is just cheesy... Keep The Faith is a lot more upbeat and songs are better in my opinion.

Ryan
bit of a tangent there mate. they were talking about the production on the album, not the songs......
Even if they were, HOW CAN SOMEONE CAN THESE DAYS CHEESY?
It's definitley BJ's masterpiece

Agreed!
These Days is a masterpiece! I think the fact that it doesn't have computer mixing techniques makes it an even better CD. It seems like they didn't have an exact plan for all the songs when they played them, and just changed lyrics and played a bit differently where it seemed right. On Crush and Bounce, it seems like the songs are almost too thought out sometimes.
