Default Something to believe in

Does anyone else think that this is such an amazing song??!!? I totally love this song, Jon's voice is so beatuiful in this one, and it's easy to relate to. This song has such emotion to it, especially the scream near the end. I love blaring this one, anyone else agree?

This song definitely means alot to me personally.....I've had to bury so many people close to me in my life.I always asked why they were taken from me....and I never got an answer. Not one damn time.So I kinda feel like Jon knows how it feels to lose someone.I was very fortunate enough to go to the Phoenix concert during the OWN tour...and Jon sang Something To Believe In.I felt like he was meant to sing it at my concert. It was amazing!

I personally don't like the song and I can't understand why people keep talking about it. But everyone's entitled to his opinion, so I guess I don't have to like the song even if everyone else does.

Sorry, but I also don´t like this song. I never got into it, and I can´t find anything positive in it. But like Taija said, everybody´s entitled to his own opinion and everybody has got a different taste of music.

Well, I guess after hearing my mother play it so many times a began to dislike it and I still do... There is something about the song that I don't like... Not lyrics or guitar, I think it was the mood and drums...

Ryan

IMO the lyrics of SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN are some of the deepest and most inspirational the guys have ever written. Musically, the song is quite progressive in the way the guitars and drums sound different to anything else Bon Jovi have ever recorded. Jon's vocal performance is excellent, both on the record and when they play the song live. The guitar solo is pretty amazing as well. Something To Believe In reveals a whole new side of Bon Jovi. I love the song to bits, for its lyrical content as well as for its progressive sound and I consider it one of Bon Jovi's ultimate masterpieces. Mooore of that, guys!!
