I agree. The song sounds decent to me, but that's just a crazy amount of money. It will surface sooner or later.

At least someone like Rdkopper admits that he just wants it for completion purposes. That aspect I can understand.

$5 or $10 being pitched in by multiple fans is a fair deal, to me, especially if you want the FLAC files. But for one person to spend upwards of $1000 or more for a single radio-promo disc containing a song that we have never even heard the title of (and also have no official conformation that it's Jovi) is... well, it's interesting.

Yeah. I mean I get wanting to pay a few dollars for an unreleased song but anything past $10 or $15 bucks is just over the top.

Posting all this interest in a public forum does nothing but drive up the price.

The OP is also most likely the seller, so he's well aware of how much people are willing to spend on this and can manipulate the bidding.

I would take the lead but I'm the most hated person on here. Who could we trust to do this? Lets appoint a person. PM them with our e-mail addresses and then go from there. Only users we know and trust should be included.

Turns out I have had long time member Nige here confused with another Nigel whom I Once bought a very nice Bon Jovi vinyl collection from.
If I didn't need this as trade bait I would have a very different stance.
Just trying to save a lot of legwork and anguish and maybe save myself a few dollars at the same time, there is at least one other group looking to collaborate as well, so I am probably into real money to acquire it

Dave and Nige have both been coming here long before you even knew this place existed. I don't see any reason why they would drive up the price, they have nothing to gain.

As to the first poster, yes, he probably is the seller. Which is why the $1200 seems a bit excessive. I wouldn't pay more than a $100 even if thought that was the last copy of the disk, which it won't be.

But, I'm still in for the $10 if we want to bid on it. It's still only $51 and there's 3 days to go.

Dear god - people really should learn who they are dealing with before they make assumptions. Anyone who has posted here for a while should know Dave and should know that:

1. He is not a bullshitter
2. He is a serious and longtime fan of this band.
3. Last but not least he is an all around nice guy
