Next 100 Years was covered by a Japanese pop / boy band

Aldo Nova's "Blood on the Bricks" album was co-written by Jon. Okay album; not great.

There was also a glam metal act from the late 80s where the album had songs (co)written by JBJ, Rachel Bolan and who else. I forgot their name; I think something with "Sinner" in it? They're on Heavy Harmonies for sure, but finding them with that info is a bit tough. I'll check my hard drive when I get the chance.
In an interview Jon says this about Notorious “It was a rock song when it left my house. It turned into I don’t know what when it got to Canada."

There was a German band called Sinner, but I don't know if this is the group that you are thinking of?

Actually I would have liked to have heard Bon Jovi doing this song.
I think the French version is more Bon Joviesque

Nah, apparently they were just called... Saints & Sinners. How could I have ever forgotten such a strikingly original name!

Kinda funny in hindsight, isn’t it?

Maybe he actually got the idea from that one, after all it wouldn’t be the first time he stole a song title/lyric from himself.

Default Songs Jon and Richie wrote that other people sang

I think we’re forgetting one of the best (or at least the most famous).

BJ’s version (the older bootleg, not the NJ deluxe version) is far superior, imho.

What's the story of House Of Fire, the Bon Jovi version claims JBJ, RS and DC wrote it but the Alice Cooper version claims Joan Jett, DC and Alice Cooper wrote it?

DC offered it to Jovi but they didn’t want it. DC didn’t even know that the band had demoed it so was surprised to hear it was on NJ deluxe.
It was also offered to JJ but she turned it down so Alice Cooper had it.
