Ah, my bad. I thought he meant the Superbowl of '34, as in 1934. Apologies.

Salaam Aleikum,

Not that far. It's not on top of my priorities really when I've got about 20 years of unfinished stuff for my website to do.

1986: Stevie Nicks -Sometimes It's A Bitch (Jon on acoustic guitar)
1993: Paul Rodgers - Good Morning Little School Girl (Part 2) (Richie lead guitar)
1995: Horizontal Ladies Club - God Is A Girl (Richie on backing vocals)
1995: Horizontal Ladies Club - Nowhere To Cry (Richie on lead guitar)
1995: Horizontal Ladies Club - Unprotected (Richie on guitars)
1995: Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul - The Time Of Your Life (Richie on guitar and backing vocals, David on piano, Tico on congas and Hugh on bass)
1998: Chris Ledoux - Bang A Drum (Jon on lead vocals)
1999: Amanda Marshall - If I Didn't Have You (Richie on lead guitar)
1999: Various Artists - It's Only Rock And Roll (Jon on lead vocals)
2000: Amanda Marshall - Why Don't You Love Me (Richie on lead guitar)
2000: Willie Nelson - Always On My Mind (Jon on lead vocals, Richie on acoustic guitar and backing vocals)

That's bits and pieces of what I've got so far, I haven't really archived anything yet. There's more stuff, some of it uncredited as well I reckon like Clapton didn't get credited for Mr. Bluesman.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
Some of this I would divide into another category and call it "duets".

Willie Nelson - Always On My Mind
Chris Ledoux - Bang A Drum

Add:

Cinderella - In From The Outside & Nothing for Nothin - Jon Bon Jovi backing vocals

Alice Cooper - Trash - Jon Bon Jovi additional vocals

Helping Haiti -Everybody Hurts - Jon Bon Jovi additional vocals

Blood on the Bricks (Aldo Nova album) - Jon Bon Jovi - I have a feeling Aldo was a Ghost Writer on the YG2 soundtrack and this is more or less a continued writing session between the two.

This album is so good; it’s almost a shame that Jon didn't record it himself

Agreed about the Aldo album, it has some gems. There's no way Jon didn't write most of "Young Love".

A couple off the top of my head:

Eddie Murphy, Yeah, Jon and Richie on vocals
RATT, Heads I Win, Jon on backing vocals
Gorky Park, Peace in Our Time, Jon and Richie wrote it and Jon sings on it if I remember correctly. There was also talk that Jon and Richie ghost wrote several of the other songs on GP's album and they DO sound a lot like Bon Jovi songs.

I agree that Aldo Nova's album is great. It helped me survive the break between Blaze and Keep the Faith. It's the closest you can get to a Bon Jovi album that's not a Bon Jovi album.

The whole band was in the video for that song. Jon sang the backing vocals.

Jon and Richie performed at a Musicare event in 2002 and sang a cover of Billy Joel's song Say Goodbye to Hollywood. I have a video of the first minue. Has anyone managed to get their hands on the whole performance?

They have written a lot of songs for fairly uknown artists. A few of them could have been hits, if the band had recorded them. My two favorites are Witness - You're Not My Lover and Loverboy - Notorious. They're very 80s style but would have made nice B-sides.

Sam Kinison - Wild thing (full version)

What a cast of rock superstars. Jon, Richie, Slash, Billy Idol, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry all in one video.

Jon helped Southside Johnny with his Better Days album (which you should get because it's really good). He sang backing vocals on the song Soul's on fire and did a duet on I've been working too hard. A great live video of that song from 1991 is up on youtube at .

I bought that concert on DVD and I can see why Jon likes the Jukes. This was from the grey period when he was touring with the Jukes. Another great song from that concert is All the way home, written by Bruce.

I didn't know Richie played on this song. It's hands down my favourite Amanda Marshall tune.

Mine too. He played on a few more songs than that on the album. I remember getting my hair cut when I was in high school and the lady was making fun of me for liking Kiss and not trying out "REAL" music and she was blasting that CD. I had no idea Richie played on it but as soon as he started soloing it freaked me out. Great CD.
