Yes, but the Kiel-version is good!

so if we think about HOW he was "asked" to perform the song he did a damn good work !!
I know it wasn't planned. I made the banners.

very EFFECTIVE banners my dear Seb :P
Ahum... "I believe" I came up with the idea and we then made them together....

BTW Raise Your Hands still sounds good to me.

But I was just recently listening to a bootleg of a very early keep the faith show. It was a promotion show at red Banks or something... i don't know, the record was out one day according to Jon.
Anyway, the songs sound sooo good you wouldn't believe....and it's not just Jon's voice that was so ****in good at the time... all the instruments sound so in tune, the guitar and keyboard are so clear... I was wondering...
Imagine the band would play like that (these days) and then let Jon sing on it, it would sound like utter rubbish... just because the voice is so bad. But if you would not play so clear, the voice doesn't stand out so much anyway... Know what I mean? In some way or another I think the band also doesn't play as clear as they did back then.
It also needs mentioning that they didn't sound so clear at the end of the keep the faith, but just very rocking. but anyway... I was wondering what everybody thought about this.

I never said I came up with the idea, but I made the banners. You and Thierry tried to color them but you both didn't know how to handle a pencil so in the end I colored them as well.

Don't touch Kieets' I Believe banner idea!

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

On the Today Show after the boxset was released and then during the Soul pep rally.

Bad Name and Bad Medicine suck live at the moment. The tempo should be higher and Jon should be shouting the vocals rather than groaning them.

On the Live CD Prayer is not performed well at all, but on the Bounce tour they really got that song rocking again. I love the way Jon opens with the chorus acapella style. He also uses the songs fame in the chorus and lets the crowd sing the high notes so he doesn't have to.

Another JoviTalk thread full of moaners and whinners. It must be Friday. Or Saturday. Or Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Honesly, is this what you guys do with your time? Jon's voice is shagged. We all know it. Deal with it. Think about all the constructive things you could've done instead of posting in this waste of time thread. I know I am.
