It's So Hard Letting You Go got me through my first High School break up, which was painful

I knew Bon Jovi. My mom had the Blaze and KTF albums, and liked the singles. I had Crossroads and bought These Days.

The These Days album just got me. The gateway to that album was Letting You Go. Those lyrics, guitar, harmony, and atmosphere expressed perfectly how I was feeling at the time... and none more so that the Whoa, oh oh part. There was such pain in that part of the song. It still is debatably their most perfect song in my opinion.

Now I can't honestly say that it brings me back to 96, freshman year every time I hear it... I mean, it got me through several other break ups too. But if I close my eyes and really listen to it, it more reminds me of when, how, and why I fell in love with that band. They were so good there. That album was perfect.
