They didn't write Bang Bang. That song was first released in 1966. Sonny Bono wrote it.

And about the rumour around 18 and Life and I remember you ?

I believe in it, Jon and Richie co-worked during 1 year and 1/2 with the skids in their first album, they almost gave to Skid Row their "sound" since they were a punk rock band.....
