How often have the guys ever written for other artists?

I think I remember hearing that they wrote something for Cher, back when she and Richie where together.

Question:
Is Obie the only one up to his privates in snow??? On the more serious side, have any other artists recorded any songs written by the members of Bon Jovi?
asked by Canukgrannie (Mandy) on Tuesday, February 18
Answer:
The band is in Michigan which, believe it not, has less snow that Jersey at the moment. Loverboy, Stevie Nicks, Alice Cooper, Cher, Chris LeDoux... have all covered Jon and/or Jon-Richie penned tunes.

Jon, Richie, and I think Desmond Child all co-wrote We All Sleep Alone for Cher. She also recorded "Does Anybody Ever Really Fall In Love Anymore" as did Kane Roberts. The band played on Cher's songs We All Sleep Alone, I've Found Someone, and Bang Bang.

Jon and Richie have written for/with:
Ted Nugent: The Story of Love
Loverboy: Notorious
Rockhead: House of Cards
Alice Cooper: Hell Is Living Without You; Ballad of Alice Cooper (which he didn't record, but Jon sang on a Rockline in 1990)
Don Johnson * but I don't believe any of those songs surfaced
Carolyn Dawn Johnson * no songs have surfaced yet

Jon has written for:

Stevie Nicks: Sometimes It's a Bitch
Aldo Nova: his entire Blood on the Bricks CD except for one song. This is a FABULOUS CD! It's as close to the "old" sounding Bon Jovi as you will find.
Saints & Sinners: Kiss the Bastards (written with Snake Sabo)
Hall & Oates: So Close

Jon has made guest appearances on these songs:

RATT: Heads I Win
Cinderella: Nothing for Nothing; In From the Outside
Alice Cooper: Trash
Eddie Murphey: Yeah (with Richie too)
Loverboy: Notorious
Billy Falcon: several songs on his Pretty Blue World CD which Jon produced
Darlene Love and someone who's name I can't remember (LOL): Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
