Could that set list be any more predictable? I'm glad I wasn't there.

I have to agree and say as a fan, it was a terrible set list. But if I'm right, this was for people who have bought tickets to see the Philadelphia Soul, not necessarily Bon Jovi fans (even though they are not mutually exclusive). So unless you're a semi/full fan, it might be the first time that you get to hear them play. What would you expect? A bunch of rare songs that no-one has heard of Except Bon Jovi fans? Or songs that everyone should know at least know the chorus to sing along to it?

I have no problem if this is what they play for one off gigs like this. If they play something like this at a full Bon Jovi concert, then I'd be pissed off!

The audience would have been made up, mostly of football fans.
They are bound to play the obvious songs because non-jovi fans are not going to appreicate songs they've never heard!

Ah. And do you think a non-Jovi fan has heard Sleep and The Radio before?

I for one will make this offer.
I will finance one Time Machine so we can send your sorry ass back to 1986 when Bon Jovi was 'cool and rocking'... then to 1991 or 1992 (whenever Radio was written) so Jon can sing it properly in the octave it was written.. and then back to 1995 when the only proper rocking Bon Jovi album was released by the name of These Days.
Who's with me? We can pool money and all chip in and send you back in time... because this is getting OLD...
Lame setlist, sure. Mimi-show for a bunch of people most of whom aren't in the loop on all things Bon Jovi. But where's the THANK YOU...
If a tree falls in the forest, doesn't anyone hear it?
If Jon Bon Jovi weren't here to blame, would you find anything to fault at all? :)

Blah blah blah. You're just as old with your comments. Go somewhere where someone actually gives a dman about what you have to say.

Thank you for what? For selling tickets to a lousy show to promote a football team when they shouldn't have bought the team in the first place? Thank you for that?

Who blamed Jon?

And no matter what you say, he still can't sing the onld songs he wrote properly. It's a fact and we're allowed to gripe about is as much as we want. If you son't like it, piss off. No one wants you around anyway.

The set list was ok for that kind of mini-show But for a real show that would be really bad...they need to surprise us a little bit u know...songs like burning for love would work live cause it has beat in it!and not that difficult to sing every now and then....

but beside the set list the real question is HOW WAS THE SHOW? was it good I mean the band as a whole...not the fact that Jon can t sing as high as he used to be??

First of all, I agree with the complaints about the setlists not changing and they becoming lazy and all that. BUT who are you - or we - to say whether they should or shouldn't have bought a football team? It's *their* money and the can do whatever they want with it without requesting your permission. Don't get me wrong, I don't give a damn about the football team - but I would never go as far as saying they *shouldn't* have bought it because as far as I'm concerned I don't care.
