Source: Richie Has 'No Plans' To Join Bon Jovi in 2017

Richie won't be back with the band. Color me shocked. This article comes out at the same time as Bon Jovi is making press about having a new album out in the fall. Gee, what a coincidence. Maybe it's gutter press or maybe someone just wanted to do a story on "where's the ex guitarist?" because the band is in the press. Not *everything* is a conspiracy, though some things are. We don't know the background workings and never will.

This is what I've said from the beginning; and that truth still applies to *all* the theories, conspiracy or otherwise. Mine, along with everyone else's.

I thought the same - Doc, Denise or the girlfriend since she now has so many social media accounts and started the new RSO you tube, fb, ig and tw. She overlaps posts so has to be her as admin. But still using the to be with his daughter is really weak. With the shows, vacations, studios, horse races........ and what ever she shares, he has been gone a lot. Just be honest and say wanted out and moved on.

Sometimes the naivety here make me laugh.

Do you really think Richie can just come out and tell the truth about why he parted ways with the band? Do you really think that the band's lawyers have not limited what Richie can and can't say at all regarding that?

Yes there is certainly more to it than the Spending time with Ava thing, but we will never know what that is.

I don't get all the negative stuff about the "spending time with Ava" quotes though. I'm sure that there is some truth to that, and as he can't dish the dirt on the Bon Jovi situation, why not use that part truth?

You guys do realise that Richie going out on tour for a few weeks here and there every so often, and sporadically recording a new album over the last 3 years is not that same as going on a mammoth Bon Jovi tour. I'm sure that he has spent a lot more time with Ava over the past few years than he would have done if he was in Bon Jovi....

He clearly wasn't happy with the musical direction, he's mentioned it a time or two in interviews, if that was part of the reason why couldn't that be why he left?

Because that is a negative slur on the band and their recent output. Jon and the BJ management would not like that. The fans would not like that, and he needs to keep them on side as much as possible. Some of his quotes have already done a lot of damage there...to use that as a public reason would not make commercial sense for him....
