Maybe. I also think that they rushed themselves. Whether you liked Crush or not, it was a huge seller. I love it, even though a couple songs I tend to skip. I don't love Bounce but it's growing on me; I do love a couple of the songs though.

I think--like New Jersey--they decided to ride the wave while it was high. That's good business sense. Chances are the album could have been better if they'd taken more time. However, I think most of us would agree that the reason this band has thrived over the years is their live shows. At least that's kept me such a huge fan. I buy all the albums--and I REALLY liked both Jon & Richie's solo stuff--but the primary reason I look forward to the new albums is because I know that means they'll be hitting the road. Every album has stuff I like and stuff I don't like. But I love the live shows regardless.

I think they decided to "strike while the iron was hot" lest they lose the momentum...

A very good point well made. The live show is the pinnacle of the Bon Jovi experience in my opinion.

Another reason they brought Bounce out so soon is 'cos of the attack on the Trade Centre towers. They have been documented many times in saying that encouraged their song-writing.

Basically I think that fans are used to all the new stuff and are ready for more and are rushing them a little. They need time and fans don't get it takes a lot of work to make and album, organize a tour, etc... Sure, we can be spoiled, but all these performances and appearances have given us excitement and the abiltiy to want more of it. I think we are a little too demanding.. Jack is right basically... I am a Bon Jovi fan, but you have to agree with me here...

Personally I don't think the fans have rushed BJ in this new album at all. What say do we have?? Is it up to us whether they bring another album out in 2004?? No - They'll do what they want. Them / The record company wanted Bounce in 2002. We - The fans - were excited about this. Thats about as far as it went.

If the fans had a say - there wouldn't have been a 5 year break after These Days.

Have we?? - have we personally asked BJ for Tour dates??

Tourdates always follow a BJ album.

We haven't rushed them at all. It is false to assume we have had anything to do with the current schedule. If they listened to us BJ would have Tour Dates in Finland, Brazil, Spain & Iran.

Bounce = Catching Crush Success & getting back into limelight quickly. Tour dates = to promote album. Why?? 'Cos thats what BJ / The record Company want to do. I don't buy into the fans rushed things argument at all. We have had nothing to do with it, just like we had nothing to do with Jons Movie Career & the five year break.

I don't recall attending any 'Next Album' rallies - Do u??

Excactly. I consider myself as a "live fan" instead of an "album fan". I can't believe that I was a fan for 8 years before seeing my first concert! But the reason was mainly that I was too young and the concerts in the 80s sold out so quickly that even if my father promised to take me to concert, we couldn't get tickets. If I had to choose between a new album and a tour I would definately pick the tour.

Hey, I know you have nagged over wanting dates, but my point is that we have expected so much and now we just keep demanding...
