Stay... as a Bon Jovi song I don't really like it, but I think it's better than most songs on Crush. So IMO it would've been better if it was released on Crush - to replace a song like She's a mystery - than as a b-side.

I think Stay was a stronger song than Thank You For Loving Me. Definitley single material.

I absolutely love that song, its incredible, and Jon's voice really brings out the emotion of lyrics to its fullest. While I love TYFLM alot too, its a very good song, Stay would've been a good second single here in the states as a ballad, that probably would have faired better than TYFLM. But I think there's a reason why all those good songs didn't make it to Crush. I dont know it yet, but there's definetely a reason.

I agree with everyone who thinks Stay is a great song and should have been on the album. I read an interview with Richie and someone asked him why Stay was not on the album. Sadly, he did not even remember the song because they make so many demos.

I agree! Stay is a beautiful song and I would have liked to have seen it on Crush. It's better than the "mystery" songs on Crush, mainly She's a Mystery. I prefer Stay to that one and think it is a better song!! I hate the Crush mystery songs!!!

Why does'nt anybody like She's a Mystery, I like it and always listen to it when I listen to Crush. Maybe I like it because It's different to what they usually release and I'm a true romantic at heart.

I like it alright....it has some of the better lyrics from the Crush sessions..but also has cliche lines. Yes, it's better than She's A Mystery. In fact, when I tape the album for the car, I leave off She's a Mystery, Save the World and sometimes I Got The Girl.

The Crush demos tend to have superior lyrics over the album choices, strangely and thankfully. Thankfully in the sense that the songs let yoi know they haven't lost their lyrical ability and they definately simplified the lyrics on the Crush album.

Ordinary People and Hush easily have the best lyrics out of the entire album and both should have been on the album. The only song I'd say that made the album that has it going on lyrically on that level is Captain Crash.

I really don't care much for Neurotica, sonically or lyrically.
