reminds me of a cowboy album.
Homebound train, wild is the wind, Ride Cowboy Ride, Stick you your guns - all cowboy esque sounding songs.
Which is why Blaze Of Glory was a dissapointment - compared to NJ.

NJ will never be bettered by the band - it was their peak and everything after this album is not as good (imo)

2 different entities though, come on. Blaze Of Glory was a soundtrack album, and considering that, it's still one of the best.

Blaze, Santa Fe, Dying Ain't Much Of A Living, Justice In A Barrel, Miracle - all really good songs. And Santa Fe and Blaze are comparable to anything on NJ.

It's flawless. The vocals, the guitars, the drums, everything.

And yeah - kicking in after the very quiet, crackly hushed viny feel of Ride Cowboy Ride, it's amazing.

I'll be stunned if anyone says they don't like this song.

I never liked the song.

No actually I do, but for some reason it's a favorite I rarely listen to. Go figure.
So, were you stunned when you read the first sentence of this post??

I was, and nearly posted stunned , until I scrolled down.

I'm like that though even with my favourite songs. I'll rarely listen to them or the albums they're on, because most of my Jovi listening is made up of live tracks. So if they don't play it live often, chances are I'm not going to listen to it.

I have got STYG from Amsterdam last year, but it's not the best quality, and not quite the big rock version on the record anyway.

Ok well I think it's silly. You're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine.

But why you think "99 In The Shade" is silly? Just a party song.. at least if you don't like it I guess you think all the "let's have some fun" songs are stupid?
