Define "let's have some fun" songs. lol I just don't like it, I don't loathe it or anything......I think the only BJ song that I loathe is WGIGO.

You know, it's not, that I mind or something. Just was wondering why do you think the song is stupid.. I just don't think it's less stupid than WGIGO or more stupid than "Bad Medicine". And "let's have some fun" song... hmm. You know, I mean a song talkin' about party.. Typical Glam tune in veins of Poison's "Nothin' But A Good Time".. I think it's the same kinda stuff that "99 In The Shade" is.

I've always loved Stick To Your Guns. The lyrics are so honest and I love the line Well you know that I've been through it, I've got the scars that prove it.... so relatable on many levels.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Great song. It's the stuff that helps to make the band special, or the album it is on for instance. Always loved it, but I've always seen it within the context of "New Jersey", never put it on any mix since 1995 (and I did many). But I recall great moments listening to it.

The acoustic guitar parts are brilliant. I have a show from Bremen 1995 where Richie plays it as a teaser in the long intro of "Wanted", and you can hear the die hards react. But the moment they manage to clap along, he's soloing again. A shame. It would have so much worked as an intro, if not played live properly. It has been mentioned before, but part of the greatness of the song is the way "Ride Cowboy Rides" is put in front of it. This two song combination is just amazing.

When was it played other than Amsterdam last year? I remember reading they rehearsed it for the 1996 tour, but never played it as far as I know. Again: A shame.

Agreed with everything you said...and the first time (and the last until Amsterdam last year) was December 15, 1988 in Brussels, Belgium. Jon messed up the lyrics then, too XD

Here:
I never understood what was so hard about remembering them anyway =D

Very relatable
100% agree with that one, i really have always related to this song, especially when it came out, it really gave me confidence and a kick up the ass to do things that i would always shy away, from, or not have the balls to do things. got to be one of my very fave PERSONAL bon jovi tracks.

Probably wouldn't make my all time top 10 Jovi songs, but still an absolute phenomenal song none the less.
