it sounds like such a manufactured acoustic album... why not just give it a normal album title and make a real album out of it but on an acoustic platform instead?

Well - the post with the title in still hasn't been deleted from Backstage, as made up rumours are.

So we have to hope that a) - Jon is having a laugh

b) - He changes his mind.

Although alot of ppl replying on the backstage topic & on other boards really like it...

still not sure on the title myself but is this definately the "BSWJBJ newsletter" or a different one. Surely someone else on this board is a member of the fanclub and surely must have the newsletter too and can confirm that this is what Jon wrote.

"Strum as you are" hmmmmm. I guess it will grow on me. I never liked Bounce at first, but now I couldnt imagine it ever being called anything else such as "One" which was another possibility for the album name.

ugly, its meant to be a reference to Nirvana, hence it should remind EVERYONE of come as you are....
did jon say that it's a reference to nirvana? (of course if that rumour is true in the first place)
in fact the first thing that came to my mind when i read that title was come as you are but then i thought that the signification has nothing to do with nirvana's song unless the band has said so.
