Not the most original selection of songs if it is true.. Do we really need another version of prayer?? but still, it should be interesting...

Im curious how Jon's voice will sound on this album... Particuarly on some of the older tracks like Wanted or KTF... He sounded pretty good on Bounce but that was a year ago so his voice may have changed a little since then.. hopefully for the better. Will be good to hear clear studio recordings of these songs again though.

I prefer Everyday acoustic to electric

Me too, I think the acoustic version of Everyday sounds great.

The tracklist isn't that bad I think. It's what we could expect. Who was expecting an acoustic album full of rarities ? Half of the songs we already have in some way, though the other half is new for us. I actually expected something worse.

And no Richie, I'm not behind this. Though you made me laugh with what you said. There are more newsletters from Japan that provide information about the acoustic album.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

If you really like it, it doesn't sound horrible. But they did nothing to change the groove of it to even justify doing it acoustic. To me it's pointless. So if they do Hook Me Up in the same manner. it's just a waste of time to me.

Again I really hope that list is bogus. It's completely uninteresting and uninspired. They had it right with the Yokohama setlist...just not the performance in particular.

1 It's my life
2 What's next
3 Someday I'll be saturday night
4 Hook me up
5 Always
6 Have a little faith
7 Born to be my baby
8 Livin on a prayer
9 Something to believe in
10 Keep the faith
11 Ghost town
12 Wanted dead or alive
13 Just older
14 Bed of roses
15 You can't always get

It's not completely terrible.....but Wanted and Prayer have been overdone in this format. Just Older and Someday I'll be Saturday Night are too easy. I already stated my case on the last track and I'm not liking that at all. Good song..but out of all the choices for a cover track..why one Def Leppard has done??

Where is "I'd die for you"??? I was hoping for that (and I still am).

Don't like this tracklist too. Curious bout the new songs...

many great songs are missing: I'd die for you, runaway... the acoustic versions are masterpieces! we don't need one more acoustic of "prayer"!

Hey it's Derek over here :

Why are you slagging of something you haven't heard yet ? There are always a bunch of people that start slagging things of about Bon Jovi they haven't heard yet. And it's not even confirmed by bonjovi.com. Like your opinion matters anyway. It's just your opinion, if this tracklist is true it doesn't matter what you think of it, they're not going to change it.

Sebastiaan over here :

Well Derek, I already said what you wanted to say so that you can't spoil this topic with your posts that are always the same.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I really hope this won't be the real track list.
No These Days, no Dry county....maybe the record will sound good as well but LOAP and Wanted
dead or alive is "the same old stuff"...I know they can't leave out those songs but a live medley of them could be better than 2 separate tracks.

More fantasy guys...please.

I wouldn't expect Dry County, it's an epic and it would probably get shortened and lose its impact in the acoustic format. But These Days would have been nice, very nice actually.

I also think they could have skipped Bed of Roses and Keep The Faith. Both were on Evening With Bon Jovi. They may not have been totally acoustic..but still....

To me, they are missing Mystery Train (i think in this format it would stand out more for what it is and shine better), The Distance (a chance to make it sound more naturally Bon Jovi without that "trying to sound current like the young bands of today" sound), In These Arms, Blood On Blood, Never Say Goodbye (acoustic beginning with drums and bass and piano all joining in for the last half, the all acoustic live version is widely available and frankly I'd like to hear the song with a bottom end again.) An officially released version of Die For You would be good..even though I and most of us have the Yokohama 1996 performance.
