They are people from the record company. If they were fans they couldn't answer questions like what brand a specific shirt of Jon has. And fans wouldn't react as arrogant as BJHQ often do. Beside that Jon and Obie O'Brian also answer questions sometimes.
For recordcompanypeople (is that one word?) they spread a lot of false info. But on the other hand, between the lines they tell things only those people an know.
