Default Suicide Song

I was speaking with a friend from Australia. He said that he remembered Jon saying that one of his songs was about a girl that someone in the band was messing with, had killed herself. Any truth to this?

I know that August 7th 4:15 was written about a young girl who was killed in a hit and run, but I've never heard anything about that.

Yes, that is the first song that came to my mind too.

I've never heard that story before.

But Katherine Korzilius wasn't hit by a car was she? Isn't it still unsolved how she actually died?

I thought by it being hit and run, it still technically is unsolved, ie no-one came forward and/or no-one was caught.

Her injuries were more in line with jumping from or being thrown from a car, but she was laid out perfectly on the raod--her clothes were smoothed down, which would not have been the case if someone had not PUT her there like that. It's still unsolved.

To the original poster. To clear things up, Your friends definately NOT referring to August 7th, 4:15. That song certainly wasn't about suicide.
Katherine Korzillius (Hope I spelt that right) Was just a young girl who was murdered, as stated above, and they have yet to find the scum who did it..

To be honest, I can't think of any Jovi song that is obviously about a suicide. And what did you mean by a member of the band 'messing with her'?? Sure they meant someone in the band, or was it someone within the Bon Jovi camp??

Sounds like chinese whispers to me..

So I can't think what this 'song' could be, Hmmm...

Notice this is your first post also, Wouldn't have anything to do with that
very weird post that I saw on here early this morning (posted by bt?)
that has now disappeared, would it???

Please reply..

The only song I can perhaps think of that could be interpreted as a "suicide" song could be My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms.

If you look at some of the lines in it, they do look kind of that way. The first 4 lines for example:

Misery likes company, I like the way that sounds
I've been trying to find the meaning, so I can write it down
Staring out the window, it's such a long way down
I'd like to jump, but I'm afraid to hit the ground

The whole song has that kind of feel to it I suppose.
