The time has long passed where Bon Jovi could pull off the Superbowl halftime show. The organisers wouldn't even consider putting the current laughable sub par tribute band near the stage and rightly so. Also WDR is reductive garbage.

I thought the Superbowl were moving away from solely Legacy acts at half time? Last few years have been either current artists or a mix match of Legacy and current.

Only way I could see Jon on the stage is if a younger act covered Prayer, ala Black Eyed Peas with Slash doing SCOM

WDR is better than IML? Thanks, I needed a good laugh after the day I just had.

It's not a steaming pile of shite as some here may wish to portray but it's not the hit material IML was at the time. HAND is a much better song than both.

All of which is irrelevant - all the autotune in the world can't save Jon right now. mid 90s-2012 Jovi were a natural choice, now they're past it. I'm still amazed they continue to sell out stadiums - don't get me wrong, I'm glad they do cos that's the experience I love when they come to town and I will be the maniac jumping up and down drowning out Jons squeal but I have no idea how they do it. Voodoo or something I guess.

I think right now the Super Bowl organization is reacting to the backlash against all the "Classic Rock" acts so they're going with younger acts. Soon enough, there will be a backlash against those acts.
